Cebu Sky Experience

After a long day of field work away from home, my good buddy and I decided to explore the busy city of Cebu. We decided to had our dinner in Ayala Mall. While having our meal, we asked our food attendant  for spots we can visit that night. And then she gave us leaflet of  the Sky Experience in Crown Regency Hotel. Curious on this new excitement we did not hesitate to waste our time and rode a cab.

Located in Osmena Boulevard, it is known as the tallest hotel in the Philippines .A 40-storey hotel and tower . The hotel has two towers. The Sky Experience is located in the 38th floor of Tower 1.

Looking at the leaflet I really don't know if we can survive this extreme adventure. While inside the elevator we admired the beauty of Cebu city by night.

We rushed to the information and asked for their rates. The entrance with 2 sky rides cost P 750.00 with 1 souvenir shirt. We purchased their combo ride to experience it both. They have lockers to safe keep your things. The sad part was you are not allowed to bring cameras in. A part of their business is buying your photos at their information which is very expensive.

Since I was a kid I was not fond of carnival rides such as roller coaster and ferris wheel. I do not have fear of heights but I guess it's the fear of falling. After a short briefing with our guide on our walk, we are now ready to put on our harness. Honestly, my legs were shaking specially looking down from the 38th floor. 

Next adventure to try is the Edge coaster ride. Just fastened yourself from a two-seat platform with a control level that can able to tilt up to 55 degrees. First tilt will be at their control and next will be on the rider. Tilted at a 55 degree, we felt we were about to fall. My feet were sweating. And we screamed at top of our lungs. It was a wonderful experience! We conquered the extreme!

I am so proud having a pose at the token of a breathtaking ride. Hurrah!
